On the plus side though, the exercise in poetry was designed to get my brain started again, and it would seem that my muse was indeed lured back from wherever it had been hiding. I now feed her regular doses of Oreo cookies and giant Cadbury bars, and my newest novel, "Meridian" is well and truly underway.
"Meridian" tells the early life of Elionin Navarre, the heroine from the "Elionin's Luck" series. I've been reinvigorated--many thanks to the incomparable Pat Rothfuss for being such an honest fellow and inspiration to a fellow gamer dork and to Stephenie Meyer for showing that women our age do have something new to offer the world-- and everything is churning along nicely.
As such, I've commissioned a few character sketches, and I'm also looking for any help from some aspiring map-makers, general sketch artists, glass-makers, and any heraldry buffs for advice, tips, and perhaps even a bit of work
